The Challenge

First Choice Anderson, a growing healthcare provider, needed a patient-facing mobile platform to manage doctor appointments and remote consultations.
Their existing system lacked real-time notifications, secure data handling, and a smooth UI for patients.
They required a HIPAA-compliant, scalable solution that could reduce manual work, improve communication, and enhance the patient journey.

Our development started with a minimal viable app focusing on doctor listings, appointment booking, and notifications. Early testing helped us expand the app to include secure messaging, healthcare compliance modules, and intuitive design enhancements.

Secure Login Page Implementation

We developed a secure and user-friendly login interface tailored for both desktop and mobile experiences. The goal was to ensure quick access without compromising on data protection, especially critical in a healthcare-focused platform.

Laravel (Back-end), MySQL (User DB), Firebase/Google Auth for 2FA, Tailwind CSS for responsive design, and client-side validation using jQuery.

The login system was optimized for both speed and security, offering a seamless entry point into a tightly controlled, role-based platform.

Real-Time Notifications:

We designed and implemented a robust real-time notification system to keep both doctors and patients instantly informed of important events.

This system was powered using WebSockets and Firebase Cloud Messaging, ensuring instant delivery across devices while maintaining HIPAA-compliant data handling. The result was a seamless user journey with real-time awareness and reduced dependency on manual follow-ups.

Payment Gateway Integration:

Integrated secure payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal to allow patients to easily pay for consultations, tests, and treatment plans within the app. Ensured PCI compliance and enabled transaction history for transparency and trust.

Feature Design and Implementation:

Led the UX strategy and end-to-end development of core features, including appointment booking, prescription management, and secure patient-doctor messaging. Focused on intuitive navigation and consistent design patterns to ensure seamless user experience across mobile and tablet.

We developed a reliable solution to migrate existing clients and their data seamlessly into the new platform.
